Jaipur is the Capital and the largest city of Rajasthan. Founded by Jai Singh II the ruler of Amer after whom the city is named. Jaipur is also known as Pink City of India. History of Jaipur
Founded in 1726 by Jai Singh II, who ruled Amer from 1699 – 1743. Jai Singh Consulted several architects while planning the layout of the city. Jaipur was planned based on the principles of Vastu Shastra.
